Structures
Structures is an extremely expressive, dynamic and touch-sensitive pedal that exists somewhere on the boundary between an overdrive and a fuzz.
The pedal uses 7 discrete transistors in a unique configuration that has excellent note definition and clarity, while also allowing your dynamics to shine through. Even at the higher gain settings, you can pick lightly to clean up the sound, then dig in to unleash a furious wall of sound. The pedal also has amazing cleanup - simply roll back your volume control to get a clean sound or back off a touch to get a light breakup sound. This also works at all gain settings, meaning you have access to a plethora of sounds.
To be honest, I hardly ever used to use my guitar's volume control until I made this pedal. Now I understand why people love having access to so many sounds at your fingertips.
The EQ of this pedal is pretty special - the "Tone" control goes from a slight bass-boost at the lowest setting, through a flat response, then to a treble boost. The lowest settings allow you to get some truly massive fuzz sounds, but at higher settings, you can get some sparkly sounds that work for both rhythm and lead work. The "Mids" control is set to give a mid cut at its lowest setting which will be familiar to anyone who uses a BMP-style pedal. However, as you turn it up, you boost the mids at the sweet spot that allows guitars to stand out in a mix. At lower gain settings, you can get the cut of a famous green overdrive pedal, but with a little extra magic due to the 7-transistor design. At higher gain settings, cranking the mids will get you a wonderfully ragged fuzz sound that harkens back to the fuzzes of the 60s and 70s, but still with note clarity and dynamics.
Couple all that with a wonderfully transparent footswitchable boost that is capable of working independently of the fuzz circuit and you have a truly spectacular range of sounds all packed into a 1590B box.

The finish of the pedal is unique for every pedal. Your pedal may look different from the one displayed. The process for creating the finish means that every unit will look different to some degree. Some have a more rusted finish, some less so - it's entirely down to the random nature of how the chemical process works. Please understand that while all the pedals are similar in appearance, they are entirely one-of-a-kind. Thank you!
